Murfreesboro TN Homes: Murfreesboro TN Main Street Market - Locally Grown Organic Produce & Baked Goods

Murfreesboro TN Main Street Market - Locally Grown Organic Produce & Baked Goods

Main Street Market occurs every Saturday main street marketmorning from 8 am til noon on the historic square in downtown Murfreesboro TN.  Vendors and farmers transform the square into a wonderland of locally grown vegetables, fresh cut flowers, raw honey, delicious jams, jellies, and apple butters, not to mention nutritious organic breads and baked goods!  The Market is a mecca for individuals searching for quality organic food and locally grown produce.

main street marketMain Street Market runs from June through the end of October.  It is becoming an extremely popular place for individuals and families of all ages, including a few well trained dogs!  The prices are very reasonable and the quality is outstanding.

If you haven’t purchased your pumpkins yet for fall decorating, there were some amazing ones at the Market that were priced at $3 and $4!!  Blankenships was offering mix and match any fivemurfreesboro real estate for $20 and the selection was impressive.  We saw everything from the bumpy versions, and multi-color gourds, to the traditional carving pumpkin.

The Nashville Jam Company  had a booth with samples of their Strawberry and Peach Chipotle Jams that were out of this world!  These jams aren’t just for toast!  They have a whole page of recipes on their website and I was told that their dressing made with the Strawberry Chipotle was awesome!  I came home with three jars...and a loaf of organic whole grain bread from WildFlours.org!  Breakfast in the morning will be delicious & healthy!

Morning Sherri, not sure if it's me, but your video is just a black screen. Darn, I was anxious to see it too. :) The photos whet my appetite to see more of your Main Street Market in Tennessee.

Sherri, your blogs are such a joy to come and visit!  Main Street Market looks like a place I'd frequent in Murfreesboro!  What a great way to highlight your area with great photos and a very engaging video.  PLUS MARKET yourself as the expert in your area.  Well done!!

Morning Debb - Oh wow, I don't know why it shows black!  It looks like Pamela was able to view it.  Thanks so much for your comments and I hope the video is just a temporary glitch!

Good morning Pamela - Thank you SO much!  I've really gotten into blogging and videos so much more since I joined this group!  It motivates me to "just do it!"  Thanks so much!

Good afternoon, Sherri. Neat way to highlight your area and market yourself as the go to person. Great job...

I need to do more video too.  I just don't love the sound of my voice.

Thank you Michael!  It's a far cry from what you produce but Sarah and I have so much fun with our community videos!

Tammy - Did you HEAR my voice?  HaHa!  I can draw out any word into multiple syllables with my southern accent.  But as Michael Thornton says...just get over yourself!  This is my first video where I used voice over and it was a stretch for me.  I finally just decided to do it!

Sherri, Southern accents are cool, just like your video.  I really enjoy seeing this type of real life community events, which involve the residents.  You're doing great with video, and your viewers will all appreciate the extra effort and quality, that you put into your work .  Best wishes always.

Thank you Richard!  They have been a lot of fun for me to make and give me something special to do with my daughters.  I hope they will have fond memories of me dragging them along with my video camera when they are adults!

Sherri, Your daughters won't need fond memories, you've got the videos to prove how much fun it was.  Enjoy the fun and best wishes always.

Now I have to say...I like this presentation better than some of the "pro" green screen ones. I admit it is subjective and I know they are for different purposes but I love the way you come across in this video Sherri.

Well done!
