The Greenway is a great place to get out and enjoy nature and unwind as your stroll past the Stones River. The Greenway is full of residents walking, biking, or jogging. It is great to see so many families with children out enjoying the trails or couples walking their dogs. There are numerous playgrounds on the trailheads along with some stunning scenery to enjoy.
The annual Greenway Arts Festival will take place on September 17 at the Old Fort Park trailhead from 10 am to 4 pm. Make sure and schedule one of your thirty minute walks during this time so that you can also enjoy seeing some great creations from artists from the Middle Tennessee area. There will also be lots of great food and activities for the kids.
